James Murdock, well known former resident of Bluffton township, passed away Monday morning, Nov. 6, about two o'clock at the home of his sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Morton, in the village of Bluffton. His death was due to leakage of the heart. He had been ill about a month.
The deceased, who was 57 years old, had been a resident of Minneapolis for many years, returning to Bluffton about a month ago. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Murdock and was born in Bluffton township. He was a single man and is survived by three brothers and two sisters. They are Thos. and Charles Murdock of Bluffton township, John Murdock of Michigan, Mrs. Kate Seibert and Mrs. Addie Morton of Bluffton.
Funeral services will be held in Bluffton from the Friends church.
