The remains of Mrs. Samuel Steverson from St, Paul were brought to Cresco Tuesday noon. Short funeral services were held at the Sidney Culbert home, conducted by Rev. Copeland with burial at the Eddy cemetery at Kendallville.

OBITUARY
KELLOGG.
Alta Kellogg was born in Decorah, Iowa, May 17, 1880. The family lived for a short time at Ridgeway and at Wykoff, Minn., but for a number of years at Kendallville.
At about age of 20 she was united in marriage to Alexander Wright at Fountain, Minn. To them were born four children, Herbert, Katherine, Jennie and Francis. Mr. Wright died about a year ago in Minneapolis. A few months ago she was again united in marriage to Mr. Samuel Steverson of St. Paul where she has since resided.
In early life she united with the Methodist Episcopal Church at Kendallville and retained that membership until her decease.
She departed this life Sunday morning, Feb. 24, 1918, age 36 years, 9 months and 7 days.
She leaves besides a husband and four children, an aged father, Charles Kellogg of McIntire, Ia., one sister, Mrs. Mary Mead of Armour, So. Dak., and four brothers, Fred Kellogg of Cresco, George of Freeport, Iowa, Walter of Strool, So. Dak., and Frank of McIntire, Iowa.
The funeral services were held at the home of her uncle, Sidney Culbert in Cresco on last Tuesday afternoon at two o’clock, conducted by Rev. E. G. Copeland and interment was made at Kendallville.
