Mrs. John Linde, one of the early pioneers, located on a farm seven miles south of town until ill health compelled her to leave, passed away on Monday, Feb. 21 at the Aase Haugen Home. Mr. and Mrs. Linde have stayed there since they closed their home here last fall. The funeral services were held by Rev. Jordahl from Lincoln Church, Friday, Feb. 26.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows she was born Dec. 25, 1838 and is buried in the Lincoln Lutheran Cemetery.
