Grandma Lein, mother of B. M. and J. M. Lein, died on the 4th, at the home of B. M. Lein, aged eighty-six years. Mrs. Lein had a fall a few weeks ago, severely injuring one of her hips and from the effects of which she failed to recover. Grandma had been a resident of Hesper nearly thirty years, and during that time had endeared herself to all who became acquainted with her. The funeral was held at the Lutheran church on the 8th.
