Brought Home tor Burial.
The remains of Mrs. Edgar Anderson were brought to Decorah on Friday last from Fargo, No. Dak., and on Saturday were buried in the Lutheran Church cemetery in Springfield township, pastor V. Koren, officiating. Deceased had been ailing for about a year past, but it was not until within a few weeks that a correct diagnosis of an internal cancer was made. She died in hospital where she was under treatment.
Mrs. Anderson was of German descent, born in Sebleswig-Holstein, and was married in Decorah, to Mr. Anderson some eleven years ago. After four or five years residence on the farm in Springfield township, the family came into Decorah and remained for the two years in which Mr. A. was deputy clerk under Edgar Field. At the close of that term, the family moved to Crary, N. D., where, with Mr. Luros, who was county recorder at the same period, Mr. A. engaged in the banking business. Two children survive the mother:—a girl of ten years and a boy of five. Deceased had no near relatives living in this country; and her remains were interred beside those of Mr. Anderson's mother in the home cemetery. In her live{sic}, Mrs. A. was a good wife, kind mother and amiable in disposition.
