Laura Hubbell was born in north-eastern New York on May 15th, 1849, and suddenly passed away at Preston, Minnesota, on the night of October 2d, 1898. She was married to C. M. Morgan, at Hesper, on Dec. 13th, 1869. To them were born five daughters and one son. The husband and four of the daughters are left to mourn the departure of a loving wife and mother. The funeral services were held in Hesper, on the 4th. Dr. P. Slack spoke words of comfort and a quintette of Mabel singers gave some beautiful and appropriate hyms.
