Brought Home for Burial.
Intelligence was received yesterday of the death of Mrs. Mary Johnson-Wilcox, and that her remains will be brought to Nordness for burial next Monday, in the pioneer cemetery on Washington Prairie. Mrs. Wilcox will be remembered as once a teacher in our city schools. She was the daughter of Nelson Johnson, one of the very first Norwegian settlers, a sister of Hon. Martin N. Johnson. For several years her residence has been in Los Angeles, Cal., where her death occurred. The facts are given us by Mr. A. O. Lomen, to whom these letters came. The cause of death is not stated.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows she was born June 25, 1854 and died Sept. 17, 1898. She is buried in the Washington Prairie Norwegian Cemetery.
