DIED.
OEHLER—At his home in Pleasant township, on the 30th ult. after an illness of only two weeks, Philip J. Oehler, aged 30 years, 3 months and 22 days. Death resulted from appendicitis.
Deceased was born Meistratzheim, in Alsace, when that was French territory, and came to this country in 1884 and to Iowa in I885, where he has since lived. Married to Elizabeth Broghammer in 1892 His wife and one child, a little girl, survive him, Funeral services were held from St. Benedict's church in Decorah, on Tuesday Father Hawe officiating.
The family of deceased extend thanks to all sympathizing friends who aided them in their hours of bereavement.
