MRS. GERTRUDE BIDNE, wife of Svend O. Bidne, and mother of Ole S. Bidne, of this city, died early Friday morning, aged 75 years and 7 months. She had been a resident, with her family, on section 2, in Pleasant township, since June 1853. Her husband and four children survive her.

Transcriber’s Note: Her gravestone in Big Canoe Lutheran Cemetery shows the spelling of her name as Gjertrud. She was born December 4, 1824 and died July 19, 1898.
