FRANKVILLE, April 20, 1898.
Mrs. DeWitt Smith died this morning at six o’clock aged about 85 years. She was born and raised in Dearborn Co., Indiana, and was twice married. Her first husband was Samuel Webster. Three children was the result of this union, two of whom, Mrs. Runyon and Ben Webster, survive her. In 1849 she was married to DeWitt Smith. To them three children were born, only one of whom, David Smith, survives. Mrs. Smith was one of the old settlers of Frankville township, a good woman and a kindly neighbor. The funeral will be held Friday morning at eleven o’clock.

Transcribers’ Note: Find a Grave shows this was Nancy who was born in 1812 and is buried in the Frankville Cemetery.
