Edward Stroble died at his home in Calmar Sunday morning at nine o’clock and was buried in the Catholic cemetery yesterday morning. At the age of fifteen death came as release from suffering which had lasted for almost a year. A host of friends mourn Eddie’s loss and sympathize with the parents in their bereavement.

Transcriber’s Note: His gravestone in St. Aloysius Cemetery shows he died in 1899 but this must be an error as this obituary is dated 1898.
It also shows he was born June 28, 1883.
