OBITUARY.
Jesse S. Beach was born in Dunham in the Providence of Quebec, Oct. 13th, 1826. He came to the state of New York in 1851 and was married to Miss Martha M. Dumelt in November, 1853. They moved to Michigan in 1855 where his wife died Jan, 30th, 1863, leaving one daughter, Mrs. Eva Kimball. Mr. Beach settled in Fillmore Co., Minn., in the spring of 1867, and the following year he was married to Miss Velzora Remick. There was born to them one daughter who died when four-and-one-half years old. Mr. Beach died Jan. 4th, 1898, aged 71 years, months and 21 days, leaving a wife, a daughter, three grandchildren, and numerous friends to mourn him. He confidently expressed his readiness to go and assured his sorrowing family that all was well with him.
