Christian C. Degro was born in Kongsvinger, Norway, April 4, 1844. In 1861 be came to America and was married in 1869 to Maline Olson. They spent the first year of their married life on a farm north of Ridgeway, and then moved to town where they have lived ever since.
He leaves to mourn his loss a wife and seven children. They are Mrs. Hans Guldbrandson of Mason City; Mrs. H. E. Grimes of Duluth, Mrs. C. A. Fosse and Charles of Schley, and Josie and Casper at home.
The funeral was held Friday afternoon from the Lutheran Synod church, of which he was a member. Rev. Jordahl officiating, and interment was in Lincoln church cemetery.—Ridgeway Review.
