Wilbur C. Stoen, age 90, of Decorah, Iowa, died Thursday evening, January 26, 2017 at Winneshiek Medical Center in Decorah.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Big Canoe Lutheran Church in rural Decorah, with the Rev. Kurt Bockoven officiating. Inurnment will be in Big Canoe Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4:00 - 6:30 p.m. Friday, February 10 at Fjelstul Funeral Home in Decorah, and on Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m., one hour before the service, at Big Canoe Lutheran Church.

Wilbur is survived by his wife Eunice; his daughter Barbara (Don) Dowd of Cedar Falls, Iowa; his son William Stoen of Decorah; three granddaughters and five great-granddaughters: Shannon (Dayle) Jones, Olivia and Emma, of Littleton, CO, Melissa (Paul) Boeke, Charlotte and Georgia, of Madison, WI, and Molly (Neil) Mulholland, and Norah, of The Netherlands; and by two sisters-in-law, Caryl Stoen of Ridgeway IA and Darlene Stoen of Decorah, IA.
