Ridgeway NewsSvend Peterson one of Ridgeway's oldest settlers passed away Saturday morning at his home here. Mr. Peterson has been ill for a number of months. He leaves to mourn his death a bereaved wife, three daughters, and two sons, besides a host of friends. The funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock at the home and 2:30 at the church, Rev. T. S. Cleworth conducting the services. That he was highly esteemed by all was shown by the beautiful floral offerings and much sympathy of the entire community is extended to those who mourn this loved one.
Note: Burial took place April 29th, 1919 at Ridgeway Cemetery, Ridgeway, Lincoln Twp, Winneshiek Co, Iowa.
