Mrs. K. T. Hovey passed away at her home on east Broadway, Saturday, Feb. 7, 1920. She had been in poor health a long time, but the immediate cause of her death was influenza.

The deceased was born in Valdres, Norway, March 3, 1852, and arrived in America June 4, 1875. A few years later she united in marriage with Knut T. Hovey, who died several years ago. Mrs. Hovey's maiden name was Ambjor Rovang.

Mr. and Mrs. Hovey were the parents of four children. One died in infancy. Three survive, Emma of Decorah, Martin of West Union, and Clarissa of Cedar Rapids.

The funeral was held Monday, Rev. I.B. Torrison officiating.
