Services held for Sandra Gjere, 62

Funeral services for Sandra Gjere of Highlandville were held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 5 at the Big Canoe Lutheran Church in rural Decorah with Rev. David Andreae officiating. Interment was in Big Canoe Lutheran Church Cemetery in rural Decorah. Schluter Balik Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

Sandra, 62, died Tuesday, April 1, 2003 at the Winneshiek County Memorial Hospital in Decorah following a sudden illness.

She is survived by her husband Maynard of Highlandville; two daughters: Deb Richter of Bellechester, MN, and Denise Bohr of Decorah; one granddaughter; one sister: Pat McCormick; and one brother: Joseph Lynch of Osh Kosh, WI.
