Earl E. Foltz 1902-1985
Funeral services for Earl E. Foltz, 83, of Decorah, were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Locust.

Mr. Foltz, a retired Hesper area farmer, died suddenly at his home Saturday.

Sensor-French funeral home was in charge of the arrangements. Al Sensor was organist, accompanying congregational singing. Burial was at the Locust Cemetery, with the following serving as pallbearers: Lloyd Foltz, Dean Foltz, Lyle Foltz, Billie Noecker, Mark Quandahl and Tim Quandahl. Honorary pallbearers were Earl Knoke, Walter Bender, Virgil Bender, Raymond Barth, Leo Tekippe and Milo Noecker.

Surviviors include his wife, the former Lillie Quandahl; four children, Thelma Adomatis of Fox Grove, Ill., Leo Foltz of Seattle, Wash., Shirley Tekippe of Independence, IA., and Lois Drew of Hampton; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson.
