Ben Muller a Benedict.
According to the St. Paul Pioneer-Press of Monday last cheering conversations with his sweetheart over the long distanced phone from his sickbed proved more efficacious to Benjamin H. Muller that the most approved ministrations from his uniformed nurse. The words of betrothal were whispered over the phone, and the day after his discharge from the hospital at Sleepy Eye Muller sped to Minneapolis.
Esther Peterson, his fiancée, knocked off a day from her work as telephone operator at the Kenwood exchange of the Northwestern Telephone Exchange company. That was February 17. Last week “Miss Peterson” quit the switchboard. They took apartments at 15 Twenty-fifth street east and the story of the romance began to circulate among their friends
When the foregoing item was shown to Frank Muller he was much surprised. He knew his brother had been ill in the Sleepy Eye hospital but of his marriage he had been kept in the dark. Ben’s old home friends stand ready to extend congratulations at the first opportunity.
