The bans for the coming marriage of Miss Emma Smith of this place and Wm. Hanken of Festina were announced on Sunday.

This morning at 9 o’clock in the Catholic church occurred the marriage of Miss Emma Smith of this place and Mr. Wm. Hanken of Festina. Father Dragoun performed the ceremony in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends. After the ceremony a bountiful repast was served at the home of the bride’s parents, of which about 6o families partook. The bride is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christ. Smith and is much beloved by all who know her. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Hanken, being an industrious and progressive farmer. The young couple will begin housekeeping on their farm near Festina and a large circle of friends wish them much happiness in their matrimonial venture.
