The friends of E. R. Abbey are willing to admit that he slipped one over on them when, without giving them just cause for suspicion, he journeyed down to Tennessee recently and on Oct. 25th was married at Columbia to Miss Ella M. Craig. The event took place at the home of the bride’s brother, E. M. Craig, and Mr. and Mrs. Abbey arrived in Decorah last Saturday. As is well known, the groom has been intimately associated with the insurance business all his life and is the junior partner in the farm of A. L. Abbey & Son. His acquaintances join in hearty congratulations to him, and extend a cordial welcome to his bride.
