A March Wedding.
On Wednesday evening of last week, the 23d inst., at the home of the bride's parents in this city, Mr. Ellis J. Hook, principal of the West Decorah public school, and Miss Minnie Mae Reed, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel A. Reed, were united in marriage by Rev. A. G. Wilson. The ceremony was witnessed only by a few immediate friends and relatives. After the ceremony the wedding party repaired to the St. Cloud Hotel, where they were entertained by Mr. and Mrs. Geo. M. Clark and a bountiful wedding supper was served. Mr. Hook, as student and teacher in Decorah, has earned a large circle of acquaintances and friends who admire him for his bearing as a true man and a gentleman. His bride is the youngest member and only daughter of one of Decorah’s oldest and most highly respected families, all of whose friends join in congratulations and good wishes.
