On the evening of the 25th Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Talbert were given a pleasant surprise, it being the “silver” anniversary of their wedding, Mr. and Mrs. Talbert have lived among us since early childhood and nearly all present had known and appreciated them all these years. B. F. Newcomer on behalf of the company presented the bride and groom a purse of silver as a memento of of{sic} the occasion.
