C. Miller dies
in Missouri

KALONA - Clifford G. Miller, 76, Stockton, Mo., formerly of Kalona, died Sunday, Jan. 29, 1989, at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Mo.

Services will be officiated by Max Yoder 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, at Peterseim's Chapel in Kalona. Burial will be at Sharon Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Miller was born June 5, 1912, in Kalona, the son of Chris C. and Katie (Wertz) Miller. He was raised and educated in Kalona.

He married Lula Copley in Missouri.

For several years Mr. Miller was employed by International Harvestor. At one time he was a cook on oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico.

Surviving are his wife, Lula, Stockton; a step-son, Jim Williams, Budd Lake, N.J.; and a niece, Charlene Herner, Kalona. He was preceded in death by a sister.

Visitation begins Wednesday after 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
