Services for V. Maxine McAninch, 91, a long-time resident of the Indianola area, who passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2014 in Des Moines, will be held 2 p.m., Monday, January 13 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial following in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Survivors include her children, Stanley (JoAnne) McAninch, Kathryn (Ben) Selle, Lora (Leland) Goode and Charles McAninch; sisters, Leota Broyles, Betty Broyles, Bernadine Cotten, Mary Driver and Marjorie Nordgren; ten grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, R. Eugene McAninch; daughter, Virginia Sharon; son, David McAninch; brothers, Walter and Lyle Williams; sister, Jeanette Condon.

Visitation will be held 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, January 12 at Overton Funeral Home where family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be given to Middle River Friends Church. Online condolences may be made at www.overtonfunerals.com.
