Child is Killed At Martensdale
Martensdale, July 15 – Marilyn McKinney, 2-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. H. McKinney, died last Thursday evening from injuries suffered in an auto collision near here Thursday about 7:30. A car driven by Mrs. McKinney collided at the intersection of highways no. 92 and No. 28 with an auto driven by M. A. Peterson of Kansas City, Kans. The McKinney car was overturned. Marilyn, the only person injured, was taken to the Mercy Hospital in Des Moines but died about 8 p.m. Services were held at the Churchville Church Saturday morning.
