DEATH:
JOHN GOBBLE.

John Gobble, 67, died suddenly at 9:30 a.m. at his home near Bladensburg. He had been ill for several days.

He was born near Abingdon, October 27, 1880, the son of William and Nancy Gobble, the youngest of five children. He had lived near Abingdon and Bladensburg all his married life.

He married Sarah Davis, February 15, 1911. She survives. He is also survived by four sons, Wayne Gobble of Ottumwa, Oramel of Matherville, Illinois, Clair and Melvin of Agency; four grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Augustine, San Diego, Calif., Mrs. Ella Wright of near Farson, Mrs. Nora Baldwin of Oskaloosa; two brothers, Earl Gobble of Ontarioville, Illinois, and Ernest Gobble of Ottumwa. Mr. Gobble was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one brother.

He was a member of the Abingdon Christian church and I. O. O. F. No. 468 of Abingdon. He had been a farmer all of his life.

The body is at the Johnson funeral chapel.
