DEATH:
Mrs. Bert Swenson Taken By Death.

Mrs. Caroline Elizabeth Swenson, 73, wife of Bert Swenson, Ottumwa tailor, died at 12:15 p.m. today at her home, 326 North Washington street, following a period of ill health.

She was born at Oland, Sweden, April 21, 1874, and came to the United States and Ottumwa in June of 1890. She was married to Bert Swenson on September 11, 1896.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Eugene B. Swenson, Ottumwa, and a grandson, Garrett Lee Swenson, Ottumwa.

The body was removed to the Johnson funeral chapel awaiting completion of arrangements.
