Obituary.
After a long and lingering illness, Mrs. Sarah J. D. Loper, wife of B. F. Loper, died at 4:20 a.m., February 8, 1908, at her late residence at 416 Sherman avenue, Wichita. Mrs. Loper was 66 years of age at the time of her death.

Sarah Jackson was educated and grew to womanhood and married at the old Jackson farm, three miles north of this place. She and her former husband, George Dennis, moved to Kansas. He preceded her in death by many years.

She was married to B. F. Loper, also a Wapello county man, in Kansas. Mr. Loper survives her and has the sympathy of many friends here. Services were held Monday at 2:30 p.m. from the residence. Interment was made at Highland cemetery, Wichita, Kansas.
