CEDAR RAPIDS - Helen B. Hootman Finney, 62, of 2073 Brookland Drive, N.E., Cedar Rapids died Sept. 17, 1993, at Heritage Acres after a long illness.
She was born April 2, 1931, in Douds. She married Robert Finney on Oct. 29, 1950. They were later divorced.
She worked for John Deere Ottumwa Works and John Morrell & Co. in Ottumwa and taught in the computor(sp) lab at Kirkwood Community College for 23 years until her retirement in 1992.
She is survived by a daughter, Gina Finney of Cedar Rapids; two sisters, Norman Dingman of Strafford, Mo. and Darline Horn of Cedar Rapids; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant sister Betty; and a son Joseph.
Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Teahen Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids, the Rev. Kenneth Bell officiating. Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Douds.
Teahen Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids is in charge of arrangements.
