Helen Bagby

FAIRFIELD - Helen Irene Bagby, 87, of Fairfield died Sept. 2, 1993, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

She was born Sept. 26, 1905, in Jefferson County to Fred L. and Olive Crowner Keller. She married Lawrence Jay Bagby on Feb. 29, 1928, in Kahoka, Mo. He died July 9, 1984.

She lived all her life in Jefferson County. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by a son, Max L. Bloomquist of Birmingham; a daughter, Beverly Johnston, Junction City, Kan.; a brother, Glen Keith Keller of Belton, Mo.; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; two brothers, Lawrence "Bud" and Vern; her parents; a granddaughter.

The service will be 10 a.m. at Behner Funeral Home, the Rev. Steve Higdon officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.

Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at Behner Funeral Home.
