Lester Rodibaugh

Lester C. Rodibaugh, 86, of Libertyville died at 8:27 a.m. July 17, 11993, at Jefferson County Hospital, Fairfield, Iowa.

He was born Dec. 16, 1906, in Jefferson County to Charles and Hattie Horn Rodibaugh. He married Bernice Taylor on June 3, 1933, in Fairfield.

He lived in Libertyville all of his life. He was a meat cutter for Farmers Store, White T Store, and Wolf's Locker. He worked as a machinist at Fairfield Engineering until he retired. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in the South Pacific in World War II. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and American Legion.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Ronald of Searsboro and Steven of Libertyville; a daughter, Karen Stump of Libertyville; six grandchildren; and two great-grandsons; a brother, Earl of Fairfield; and a sister, Ellen Kracht of Birmingham.

he was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jerry Lee; a sister, Veva; and four brothers, Ralph, Fernando, Frank, and Verle.

The service was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 20, 1993, at Behner Funeral Home, Fairfield, the Rev. Thomas Clark officiating. Burial was in Fell Cemetery in Libertyville.

Memorials may be made to Fell Cemetery.
