Alyson Jane Mabe

Alyson Jane Mabe, three-month-old daughter of Rex and Dana Wenke Mabe, Bonaparte, died of apparent sudden infant death syndrome at 7:30 a.m. Sunday, December 9, 1990 at the home of her grandparents, William and Jeane Wenke, Keosauqua.

She was born August 1, 1990 at Keosauqua.

Besides her parents and maternal grandparents, she is survived by a sister, Heather, at home; paternal grandparents Robert and Pearl Mabe, Gladstone, Illinois; paternal great-grandmother, Viola Waterman, Stronghurst, Illinois and maternal great-grandparents Monte and Jane Petersen, Bonaparte.

Services were held Tuesday, December 11, 1990 at the Bonaparte United Church with Reverend Fred Malone officiating. Burial was in Bonaparte.

We want to thank all our wonderful friends and family for their love and support at the time of our loss. A special thank to Bob Muir, Bonnie Carter, Kathy Story, and Donna Wenke for being there when we really needed them. Also thanks to the ladies at the church for the meal. And Reverend Fred Malone who gave us the strength we needed to get through this difficult time.
