Frances M. Tade

Frances M. Tade, daughter of Levi R. and Elizabeth Lightfoot Cummings, was born December 15, 1921 near Bonaparte and died Monday, July 24, 1989 at University Hospital in Iowa City at the age of 67.

She graduated from Bonaparte High School and lived her life in the Bonaparte-Hillsboro area except for three years in Chicago.

She was a member of Harrisburg Baptist Church and Missionary Society, Stockport Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, Chapter AB, PEO and Chapter BY, TTT, both at Bonaparte, and Van Buren County Republican Women.

She married Robert Tade January 4, 1947 at Fort Madison. He died August 9, 1979.

Surviving are two sisters, Ruth Shelman, Hillsboro and Alma Derr, Chicago, nieces and nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 29, 1989 at 10:30 A.M. in the Harrisburg Baptist Church with Rev. Fred Malone officiating. Interment will be in Vale Cemetery near the church. The family will be at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua from 7-8 P.M. Friday. Memorials to Vale Cemetery or the Heart Fund may be left at the funeral home.
