Mildred Coffin, 67, Farmington, died at 6:09 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, 1988 at University Hospitals, Iowa City.

Mrs. Coffin was born September 4, 1920 at Revere, Missouri. She had lived in Farmington 48 years. She was president of the Farmington Medical Board and was a member of the Farmington United Methodist Church, the WSCS, the Order of Easter Star, the American Legion Auxiliary, the Garden Club and the Cemetery Association.

On June 18, 1939 at Kahoka, Missouri she was married to Charles coffin, who survives.

Her parents were C.R. (Rudy) and Dora Peacock Cronin.

Services were held Saturday, March 12, 1988 at the Farmington United Methodist Church. The Reverend James Rozendaal officiated. Burial was in Greenglade Cemetery.

A memorial has been established with the Farmington United Methodist Church.

Hofbauer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
