Lucille Fletcher

Lucille M. Fletcher, 69, Ottumwa Route 7 died at 6:45 a.m. Dec. 4, 1986, at her home.

She was born Sept. 4, 1917, in Fairfield to Aaron and Sophia Shelangoski Hobbs. A resident of Ottumwa most of her life, she was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, and the Altar and Rosary Society. She married Herman Fletcher Dec. 13, 1934, in Bloomfield.

She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Mary House and Rose Alexander of Ottumwa, and Lela Heisel of Stockport; three sons, Ora of Fairfield, Herman Jr. of Bowman, N.D., and John of Eldon; 31 grandchildren; and a brother, George Hobbs of Ottumwa.

The funeral Mass will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, the Rev. Paul C. Hart officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Charles Heisel, Ora Fletcher jr., Fred Smith Jr., John Lee Fletcher, and Terry and John House.

The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today at Reece Funeral Home.
