Clarence Smith

Clarence W. Smith, 72, died Dec. 18, 1987 at Wayne County Hospital in Corydon.

He was born Oct. 24, 1915, in Seymour to David W. and Jennie Ross Smith. He married Erma Morgan on Nov. 7, 1938.

He is survived by his wife; five children, Mary Small of Milton, Robert of Seymour, Jane Ann Christian of Unionville, Mo., Helen Vandermark of Mystic and Joh Mark at home; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Elliott of Blue Grass.

The service was Dec. 22 at Randolph Funeral Home in Seymour, the Rev. Don Kraps officiating. Burial was at Southlawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers were David Johnson, Larry Brown, Rex Carey, Charles Inman, Randy Stout and Robert Walker.
