Mabel B. Habig

Mabel B. Habig, 90, of Fort Madison, died 7:05 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18, 1987, at the Donnellson Manor Care Center.

Born Feb. 8, 1897, in Milton, she was the daughter of William and Nettie Cloat Roberts. She married Adolph Habig April 13, 1919, in Pulaski.

She was a member of the Santa Fe United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband; one son, Charles Habig, Fort Madison; one daughter, Colleen Douglas, Macomb, Ill.; two half-sisters, Mrs. Lenola Rhinehart, Salem, Mo., and Mrs. Edwena Simpson, St. Louis, Mo.; two stepsisters, Mrs. Mildred Mash and Mrs. Geneva Helling, both of St. Louis, Mo.; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be after 1 p.m. today at the King-Lynk Funeral Home, Fort Madison.

The service for Mrs. Habig will be 11 a.m. Monday at the King-Lynk Funeral Home, Fort Madison, with Dr. Raymond Boulter officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for the Donnellson Manor Care Center.
