Celia A. Hayes

Celia Ann Hayes, 92, of Pulaski died at 12:05 a.m. Dec. 8, 1987, at Bloomfield Care Center.

She was born June 16, 1895, in Schuyler County, Mo., to William Richard and Jennie Gordy Lasley. She was a member of Pulaski Methodist Church. She married Willie Francis Hayes May 16, 1910, in Scotland County, Mo. He died Sept. 15, 1967.

She is survived by four sons, Francis of Olathe, Kan., Lloyd of San Antonio, Texas, Eduean of Roswell, N.M., and Kenneth of Zapata, Texas; four daughters, Pauline Clendenen of Milton, Arvida Jones of Bloomfield, Lavon Thompson of Wyoming, Mich., and Thelma Callan of Big Rapids, Mich.; 23 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

The service was 1:30 p.m. Friday at Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield, the Rev. Alan Birr officiating. Burial was in Barker Cemetery in Scotland County, Mo.

Memorials have been established to her church and Bloomfield Care Center.
