ETHEL MARIED ENSMINGER TURNER

Ethel Marie Ensminger Turner was born October 24, 1900 at Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, the daughter of George and Iona Scarff Ensminger. She died at her home in Troy on August 22, 1975 at the age of 74 years, 9 months and 28 days.

On December 30, 1920, she was united in marriage to Roy R. Turner. Two children blessed this union.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one sister, Velma Snodgrass and one son-in-law, Warren Ritz.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Carmen Ritz of Des Moines; one son, Gene Turner of Douds; six grandchildren; two brothers, Clyde Ensminger of Troy; Everett Ensminger of Boswell, Ind.; and one sister, Frances Johnson of Pulaski.

The funeral was held at the Troy United Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 24 and interment was at the Troy Cemetery.
