HAROLD TACKELSON

Harold Tackelson, Burlington died Friday evening, December 28 at the Burlington Medical Center at the age of 73. He had suffered a heart attack on Wednesday.

Funeral services were held on Monday, December 31 at the Lunning Chapel.

Harold was born and raised south of Milton and was a 1924 graduate of Milton High School.

Harold grew to fame in Iowa High School Athletics mainly in football coaching. He taught in the Burlington area and most recently at Burlington Notre Dame High School.
