MARY SUMMERS

Friends have received word of the death of Mary Summers, wife of Lloyd Summers and mother of Dr. Frederick Summers and Dwight Summers and his wife, the former Jean Brady, all three deceased.

Mrs. Summers, the last of her immediate family, has lived in Downey, California in a nursing home for several years.

Survivors are Fred's wife, Lois and a stepson, grandchildren and Dwight and Jean's child, Elizabeth and her daughter. They were a prominent family for many years in Milton. Mary worked in Rowland's store. Lloyd worked in Keosauqua, Milton and Chariton. Both sons graduated from Milton High School. Mary's parents were the A.E. McNeils.
