Dale Eugene Snyder

Dale Eugene Snyder, son of Fred H. snyder and Mayme Snyder Helsel, was born September 5, 1932, in Jefferson County, Iowa, and died February 7, 1983, at the Ouachita Memorial Hospital, Hot Springs, Arkansas, at the age of 50 years, five months and two days.

Dale graduated from the Milton High School and spent most of his life in the Milton area. He established the BIMCO Company in Bloomfield, Iowa and helped begin the Mid-State Industry in Milton, Iowa. He was a veteran of the Korean War.

Dale had given his life to the Lord and was ready to face the experience of death.

He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Snyder, grandparents, Sam and Exie Van Syoc, and step-father Len Daniel Helsel.

Those who survived include his mother, Mayme Helsel, of Milton, Iowa, one daughter, Debra Kay Terry of Tolar, Texas, one son, Dale Snyder Jr. of Waco, Texas, two granddaughters, Katie and Christi Terry, and son-in-law, Christopher Terry, all of Tolar, Texas, step-brother, Harold Helsel and his wife, June, of Cantril, Iowa, step-sister, Pat R. Helsel, of Tucson, Arizona, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services were held Friday, February 11, 1983, at the Wagler Funeral Home, Bloomfield, Iowa. Officiating clergy were Dr. Carl E. Wilson and the Reverend Jerry Caughron.

Casket bearers were Darrell Rysdam, Mike Kinnamon, Steve Thomas, Joe Jones, Jack Dixon, Wilbur Wooley, Bucky Wheaton and Keith Hill. Interment was in the Center Cemetery, Wayland, Iowa.
