Ray R. Robertson

Ray R. Robertson formerly of Van Buren County, Iowa, was born December 17, 1904, and died at Sugar Loaf, California, Thursday, May 25, 1978.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine (Shpler) of Paris, Texas, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Robertson of Cantril, Iowa, one brother, O.C. Robertson of Cantril, Iowa, and Olive Kaiser of Lebanon, Iowa.

Those surviving are daughters, Renna Smothers of Lavern, Calif., and Sharon of Sugar Loaf, California, also his brother, Wallace Robertson of Cantril, Iowa, sisters, Edith Hull of Colorado, Springs, Colo., Arta Peel and Georgia Owen of Cantril, Iowa, Cleda Perkovich of Boone, Iowa, and Helen (Cricket) Walton of Bloomfield, Iowa.

Funeral services were held at Big Bear, California, on May 31, 1978.
