Iva Teeter rites

Services for Iva Iowa Teeter, 92, who died Tuesday morning at her home, 401 W. Briggs, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Gates officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call after noon today. Memorials have been established to the Hear Association and First Christian Church.

Mrs. Teeter was born Feb. 8, 1895 in Van Buren County, the daughter of Charles and Ida Corsbie McKinzie. She married Corliss O. Teeter Feb. 12, 1913 near Stockport. He died Feb. 5, 1967. She had lived in Jefferson County except from 1946 to 1971, when she lived in Burlington. She was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church, Burlington.

Surviving are a daughter, Edith Bell, Fairfield; two sons, Harold and Beryl, both of Fairfield; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. A brother, a half-brother and a grandson preceded her in death.
