Wednesday, March 1, 1995Dorothea E. Chapman, 84, of Lorimor, died Feb. 17, 1995 at the Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset. Funeral services were Feb. 20 at the First Baptist Church in Lorimor. The Rev. Larry Smith officiated the ceremony with burial at the Lorimor Cemetery.
She was born May 14, 1910 in Lorimor to Henry L. and Lettie (Burkheimer) Perry. She married George Baughman in 1940. Her first husband died in 1966. She married Donald Chapman in 1982. She was a lifetime resident of Lorimor and had been employed by the Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset and two nursing homes in Winterset. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lorimor.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and both husbands.
Surviving relatives include her nephew, Stan Cain and wife Doris of Lorimor.
