OBITUARY

Isaac [Ike] was born in Shelby County, IL, on August 30, 1896, son of Silas and Mary [Steele] Fink. He received his education in a country school in Shelby County. Ike moved to Iowa in 1917 and began working on area farms. He then worked for the James T. Fleming family and in 1920 he began farming on his own. In 1921 Ike began farming with his brother Arthur near Reinbeck and in 1922 they moved to the Traer area where they farmed east of Traer.

On October 25, 1957, Ike was married to Fern V. Corley and they made their home on the farm east of Traer.

In November of 1986 Ike entered Sunrise Hill Care Center in Traer and in February of this year his health failed and he died at the Care Center on Thursday, May 24, 1990, at the age of 93 years.

Ike was a member of the Ripley United Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by two brothers Arthur and Lonnie and three sisters Bessie, Bertha and Okla.

He is survived by his wife Fern of Traer; a niece Mrs. Richard [Betty] Crawford of Dysart; one brother Cleo Fink and several nieces and nephews.
