James Harold Leslie, 75, of Nevada died of pneumonia Tuesday at Story County Hospital there. The body was cremated. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. today at First United Methodist Church in Nevada, of which he was a member.

Mr. Leslie was born in Wildersville, Tenn., and had lived in California before moving to Nevada in 1967. He was a banker with Nevada National Bank and had worked for Beacon Microcenter in Ames before retiring. He was a member of American Legion, Old Man's Bridge Club and Kiwanis Sertoma in California and had served as charter president of Kiwanis in Nevada. He enjoyed gardening.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara,; two sons, Scott of Story City and Michael of Chicago; two sisters, Jean Lavagnino of Orangeville, Calif., and Helen Ketchum of Orange County, Calif.; and a grandchild.

The family will receive friends an hour prior to the time of services today at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to MCW Bone Marrow Transplant Program, 9200 West Wisconsin Ave., Milwaukee, Wis., 53226. Chet Ryan Mortuary is handling arrangements.
