Lawrence Thomas, 60, former Cambridge man, died in Omaha

Lawrence Raymond Thomas, age 60, of Omaha, Nebr., a former Cambridge resident died Thursday at his home in Omaha. Funeral services will be held from the Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada on Tuesday, June 22, at 11 a.m. Rev. Marvin Hulse will officiate with burial in the Nevada Ceemetery.

Born April 4, 1916 in Northwood, Ia. to Walter C. and Elna [sic] Thomas, he had been a resident of Omaha the past 20 years.

He is survived by one son, Larry of Minneapolis, Minn.; one daughter, Mrs. Jack Moore of Denison; four grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Donald Scott of Springville, Ia.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
