Coronary attack is fatal for Eugene Snyder

Eugene Snyder, 1118 Fourth Street, died in the Story County Hospital Saturday morning five days after suffering a heart attack. He was 71.

Born December 24, 1898 in Pure Air, Mo., he was the son of Thomas and Sina Snyder. A retired railroad telegrapher he had lived in Nevada the past three years.

His wife is the former Jessie V. March and the couple was married December 25, 1935 in Goldsberry, Mo.

He was a member of the Nevada Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Survivors include his wife Jessie; three sons, Thomas E. of West Des Moines, James V. of Carlisle, Benjamin R. of St. Louis; two daughters, Mrs. Rowena Mills of Nevada and Mrs. Ramone Geery of Tracy, Iowa; nine grandchildren, and one sister, Dora Snyder of Macon, Mo.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2:30 with Elder G. M. Fillman officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.
